What we do

Cuento Contigo makes illustrated storybooks where your child is the main character. We write and illustrate the story from what you tell us and, if you ask, print it and deliver it to your door.

Stories and pictures are made with the help of artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic for the writing and an illustration service for the drawing), and we review the result. Some details may not come out as you pictured them, which is why you see a preview and approve the book before it's printed.

Previews are free

You can make a book preview without paying or committing to anything. To prevent abuse, we limit how many previews one phone or computer can make per day.

Orders and prices

• Prices are in US dollars and include any applicable taxes. For example, the digital book is $9.99 and the hardcover $39.99.
• Before you pay you see the total, the shipping cost and the estimated delivery date.
• Your order is confirmed once we receive payment. For bank transfers, that's when we see the deposit.
• If a price is shown wrongly because of an obvious error, we tell you before going ahead and you can cancel at no cost.

You review and approve before printing

When the whole book is ready we send it to you to read page by page. You can ask for changes to the pictures and the text. We only print once you approve it, so check names, dates and the dedication carefully: what you approve is what we print.

What you give us

• The photos, voice notes and details you upload must be yours or have the permission of the people in them. If you upload photos of a child, you confirm you're their parent or guardian, or have their permission.
• Don't use the service to create offensive, violent or sexual content, or content that mocks anyone. We may refuse or cancel such an order and refund you.
• We use what you give us only to make and deliver your book. The details are in our privacy policy.

Your book is yours

You can read, print and share your book with family and friends as you like. You can't sell it or use it commercially. We never use your child's book in advertising without asking you first.

The Cuento Contigo name, the site design and our characters, such as Gozo, belong to us.

My orders

To see your orders you sign in with a code we send by email or WhatsApp, with no password. Keep your email and phone secure, because anyone with the code can see your orders.

Shipping, changes and returns

How and when your book arrives, and what happens if something goes wrong, is explained on our shipping page and our changes and returns page, which are part of these terms.

Cuento Contigo Club

Subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time: you stop paying from the next period and keep what you've already paid for until it ends.

Liability

We do everything we can so your book arrives well and on time. If something fails on our side, we reprint the book or refund what you paid. Our liability doesn't go beyond the amount of your order, except where the law of El Salvador doesn't allow that limit.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we publish the new version here with its date. Orders you've already placed keep the terms you accepted.
