Shipping and delivery

How long it takes

• El Salvador: we print it in San Salvador within 2 to 4 business days of your approval, and the courier delivers in 1 to 2 business days.
• United States and other countries: a partner printer near you prints it, and it arrives in about 2 to 3 weeks.
• United Arab Emirates: a partner printer in the UAE prints it, and it arrives in 3 to 6 business days.
• Business days don't count Sundays or public holidays. At checkout you see the exact estimated date for your order, and you can follow it in My orders.

What it costs

• Home delivery: $3.99. Free when your order is over $45.
• Express in the San Salvador metro area: $7.99, delivered the business day after printing.
• The digital book has no shipping: it arrives ready to read and download.

For Christmas

The site tells you the last day to order for delivery before Christmas Eve. That date assumes you approve the proof in time, so review it as soon as it arrives. If it's too late, you can give the digital edition the same day and get the printed book in January.

Your address

• Write the full address and a landmark. In El Salvador many addresses are found by landmarks, and it helps the courier a lot.
• You can correct the address in My orders until the book reaches the printer.
• If the parcel comes back because the address was incomplete or wrong, we send it again once you confirm the right one, and you pay the shipping again.

Delivery day

The courier calls the phone number on your order. If nobody is there to receive it, we message you on WhatsApp to arrange another delivery.

If it's lost or damaged

If the parcel is lost on the way, we reprint it and send it at no cost. If it arrives damaged, reach us at hola@micuentocontigo.com within 7 days with photos and we sort it out as described in changes and returns.
